E-CARD HELP & SUPPORT


It is important to note that HallowFreaks.com mail notifications do not contain attachments of any kind. Instead, they contain a hyperlink, which directs recipients to a unique web page in order to view the E-card that was created for them. If you have received an E-card with an attachment, be advised that it did not come from HallowFreaks.com. We advise you to delete the email message that carries the attachment; be sure that you do not open the attachment.

Do I have to be a member to send an E-card?
No. But you do have to be a registered member to use our HallowFreaks system features such as Card Save and Address Book.

How do I send an E-card?
Browse through the selection on our site and pick the item you want to send. Click on the thumbnail image to get a full-screen view. Click the Personalize and Send button. On the personalization page, carefully enter the information below into the form.

  • TO: Enter the email addresses of each of the recipients. (If you're a member, you can use your Address Book to avoid having to type in the email addresses).
  • FROM: Enter your complete email address (for example, anyone@wherever.com).
  • Message - Enter your personalized message. There is no limit to the length of your personal message.
  • Pick a day to send - This feature allows you to specify the send date up to a month in advance of delivery.
  • Send - Click here to send. The "Success!" page indicates that you successfully sent your eCard.

    How do I resend an item?
    If you are a HallowFreaks member, you can resend items from your Sent E-greetings folder.

    How do I know my E-card was sent?
    E-greetings are usually sent within an hour. After we send your eCard, we will send you a confirmation e-mail to let you know that it was sent. The e-mail contains a link you can use to view the item that you just sent.

    If the recipient's e-mail address was entered incorrectly, you will receive what's called a "mailer daemon" e-mail letting you know that the E-card could not be delivered. Check your recipient's e-mail address to make sure you entered it correctly, and resend.
    When your recipient "picks up" the item you sent, we will send you another confirmation e-mail to let you know!

    How do I stop delivery?
    Unfortunately, items sent for immediate delivery cannot be cancelled or retrieved for editing. Once an E-card has been sent, there is no way to stop the delivery.

    How do I pick up my E-card?
    We provide recipients with the following viewing options (see below).
  • Click on the URL (address) you received in the email notification we sent you.
    The address looks something like this: http://www.hallowfreaks.com/view.pd?i=224408999&m=2265
  • Copy and paste the URL (address) into the long, white address bar at the top of your browser window.
  • Enter the E-card number you received in the email notification we sent you, on our Pick Up Page.
